Event Snapshot
The HSOP brings Calgary’s poker community together for a three-day championship featuring two Day 1 flights—Friday and Saturday—played simultaneously across two houses. Players may enter on Friday, Saturday, or both, with only their best stack advancing to Day 2. The top 25% of each Day 1 field qualifies for Day 2 on Sunday, where all remaining players converge at Nomad’s Poker Room for the final showdown. With deep starting stacks and a true tournament structure—no shove-fest nonsense—the HSOP delivers real poker and the largest prize pool we’ve ever offered.
